Throws them away.

that’s right, hundreds of thousands of PLASTIC hangars thrown away, to the dump, crowding our landfills, poisoning our soil, waters, and bodies.

I’ve boycotted but since I think they are a family friendly place to shop I’m going to give them a chance to change their ways….I’ll let you know how my, “plastic is horrible” letter campaign goes….

  1. Hi! I love your blog and wondered if you might be willing to speak to me for a syndicated editorial I’m writing on plastics?

    Thanks!

    This infuriates me.
I work for the parent company and recently heard that if I needed hangers, I should just make a trek to my local Old Navy, because they THROW THEM away every night?! WHAT?!
I understand that this is their way of maintaing low overhead and being fiscally responsible, but let’s find another way to be please shareholders and save money and productivity. Ironically, it is a waste.
